Fantastic First Year for Capture Imaging Solutions – Turnover Exceeds Expectations
|
Providing a document management, copy, print and scan solutions service to the north east has proved to be a business success story for Aberdeen based Capture Imaging Solutions (Capture). Capture, which was set up in October 2005, today Monday 20 November 2006, reports that turnover for their first twelve months of trading has exceeded £1.5m. It is expected that year end results for 2006 will be £1.8m
Since October 2005 Capture has signed over 80 clients and installed more than 230 machines across the north east. Major contract wins include the provision of digital copying services to SBS Logistics.
“Capture Imaging Solutions has gone from strength to strength right from day one,” comments Colin Yule Director of Capture. “We place a great deal of emphasis on quality of service and customer care and it is these principles which have provided strong foundations for the business and resulted in our first year of trading being so successful.”
Murdo MacIver, Commercial Director of SBS Logistics, said: “Capture has supplied us with photocopiers for all of our Aberdeen sites. Their comprehensive approach to client liaison was such that we felt they had a good understanding of our requirements, and we were happy with the product they were offering and its ability to meet our needs. We are confident that their after sales service will be of an equally high standard.”
Colin adds, “We are committed to providing our existing customers with an outstanding level of service whilst continuing to grow the business in a steady and sustainable manner. Our achievements to date were recognised when we were awarded the New Business Award at the 2006 Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise.”
In September 2006 Capture moved to new premises in Altens. “We recently decided to move the servicing side of our business in-house and this along with our future growth plans necessitated the move to larger premises.”
Capture has the distribution rights to supply the award winning Konica Minolta brand and was recently told by Konica Minolta that they are ranked second out of all suppliers north of Manchester for sales and revenue and seventh out of 160 UK wide.
“Both of these rankings represent a significant achievement for our first year of trading. Selling photocopiers is never an easy task however promoting a brand which provides a cost effective yet high quality end result makes the task slightly easier. This is backed up by the high level of customer service that we deliver to all of our clients.”
The company was set up by Colin Yule and Robbie Cheyne. Capture plans to grow considerably throughout 2007; at least three positions will be created in the coming 12 months. Capture currently employs eight staff.
